Dalton and Joule Rooms

Please note: From January 2024, the conference centre will be closed due to our restoration works at the museum. Please contact the team at venuehire@scienceandindustrymuseum.org.uk for more information.

The Dalton and Joule Rooms are named, respectively, after the famous chemist, meteorologist and physicist John Dalton, and the physicist and mathematician James Prescott Joule.

The rooms are ideal for meetings and presentations, and benefit from natural daylight and air conditioning. They are available to hire as separate meeting rooms but can also be combined into one large space.

The meeting room also includes an LCD screen, projector, flipchart, integrated teams system and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Our Dalton and Joule room is also home to our new studio equipment for virtual and hybrid events.
