Ruby French
Ruby has thrived working in the events team in many museums across Manchester, so is well versed in the delivery of a fantastic event in an unusual venue. She loves using her creative skills to plan a variety of events, always striving to make the weird and wonderful possible! Her favourite part of her job is making connections with the wide range of clients we welcome here at SIM, and seeing their ideas come to life in our galleries. The item in the collection that Ruby finds the most fascinating is the Crossley sign in Arabic, which is part of our interpretation in the Power Hall. Not only is it visually gorgeous, but the stories of 19th Century colonial trade networks are a very important part of industrial history.
